El diario El País, el 15 de enero, publicaba una infografía sobre la “Ayuda financiera y equipos de asistencia”, en la que Cuba ni siquiera aparecía entre los 23 estados que han aportado colaboración (4). La cadena estadounidense Fox News llegaba a afirmar que Cuba es de los pocos países vecinos del Caribe que no han acudido a prestar ayuda.
