On 28 June the democratically elected president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya was expelled from office in a military coup perpetrated by right wing politicians, and the business sector. Aida Quilcue in London

Aida Quilcue is the leader of the Cauca Regional Indigenous Council (CRIC), and one of the key figures behind the Social and Communitarian Minga process in Colombia. In December 2008 her husband, Edwin, was killed in an attack by the Colombian army. Read the rest of this entry »
