Sheffield Fems, Sheffield National Assembly of Women and WILPF (Sheffield) are jointly planning a series of public meetings to mark International Women’s Day in 2011. The theme will be “Women and Poverty”, looking at the effect on women of the economic downturn in the UK and worldwide.
We are still at the early planning stage, but we would like to give you notice of the dates we have fixed, to avoid any clash of dates with other women’s organisations locally. These dates are:
Saturday 29 January 2011 from 2 pm. to 5 pm.
Thursday 10 February 2011 from 6 pm. to 9 pm.
Saturday 12 March 2011 from 2 pm. to 5 pm.
All meetings will be at the Quaker Meeting House and will be open to all. Further details of topics and speakers etc. will be circulated in due course.
