Aida Quilcue is the leader of the Cauca Regional Indigenous Council (CRIC), and one of the key figures behind the Social and Communitarian Minga process in Colombia. In December 2008 her husband, Edwin, was killed in an attack by the Colombian army.
Seemingly the intended victim of the attack was Aida. In this interview Aida talks about the situation facing indigenous peoples in Colombia, the Social and Communitarian Minga, and what it means to be a victim in Colombia.
