I am, despite being born in Chile, effectively a 2nd generation Chileno (only 2 when we got here). I grew up and still live in London (boo!). However, on September 1st my novia and I are moving to Sheffied (Wehey!). We are expecting our first child, due in December. I would love to get to know and get involved in grupos de chilenos. My partner is British but we would both really want our child to grow bilingual. Also, my spanish is getting increasingly rusty. Does anyone know of any young children’s activities that happen in Sheffield such as story telling, songs etc. run in castellano by chilenos for chilenos. If not, would anyone like to get involved in organising something like this?

Llegaran mas o menos justo pa’ la celebracion del 18 de septiembre,( aunque un 17) al festival de Rotherham y a la conmemoracion de los caidos y desparecidos el 11 en el Sheffield Town Hall.
Si te interesa participar en actividades lo pasaras bien. Y mejor aun si tu mismo quieres comenzar otra/s!
El proyecto de la Escuelita Chilena comenzara por Octubre y ahi hay harta room pa’ hacer cositas con los cabros chicos.
